Purpose and calling

The Weight of Your Calling

For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life.
Ephesians 2:10 · BSB

You have been feeling the pressure to prove your worth in every task, and you have not said it aloud.

The cost of answering a call can be sleepless nights, strained friendships, and a sense that the ordinary is being sacrificed for a higher aim. It is real and it hurts, especially when the world expects you to juggle a job, a family and a church role without complaint.

But the promise in the key verse reminds you that the work you do is not random, it is crafted by a Creator who equips you for the very things you fear you cannot bear.

Read these too

  • Therefore I urge you, brothers, on account of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.

    Romans 12:1

  • For it is God who works in you to will and to act on behalf of His good purpose.

    Philippians 2:13

  • As good stewards of the manifold grace of God, each of you should use whatever gift he has received to serve one another.

    1 Peter 4:10

Take heart
