Today's Prayer
Prayer for Guidance and Peace
A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness for the sake of His name. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the gift of today, for the breath that fills my lungs, for the work You have done in my life and continue to do. I recognise Your hand in every sunrise and in every quiet moment.
Today I ask for Your guidance in every task I face. Direct my steps, steady my thoughts, and keep me walking in what pleases You. May my heart listen to Your still small voice above the noise.
Give me peace inside, strength for the challenges ahead, and wisdom to choose rightly. Provide for my family, protect us from harm, and let Your presence lead us. Help us trust Your timing and hold onto hope. In Jesus' name, Amen.
