Loneliness

When Silence Becomes Heavy

Turn to me and be gracious, for I am lonely and afflicted.
Psalms 25:16 · BSB

You have been feeling the weight of empty rooms for months. The silence eats at your sleep, it makes meals taste bland, it turns a simple walk into a reminder of what is missing. Loneliness steals your focus, it drains your energy, it can turn hope into anxiety.

Yet the Scriptures remind you that you are never truly alone. God places the lonely in families, He promises his presence even when people drift away, and He invites you to cast your cares on him. Trust that his companionship is steadier than any human affection.

Read these too

  • God settles the lonely in families; He leads the prisoners out to prosperity, but the rebellious dwell in a sun-scorched land.

    Psalms 68:6

  • I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.

    John 14:18

  • Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you.

    1 Peter 5:7
