You feel the weight of every bill, the pressure of a deadline, the ache of a strained relationship and yet the call to give pulls at your heart; the cost is real, it can feel like a loss of security, a sacrifice of peace, a moment of fatigue, but the act of generosity is never without a price you must pay first.
When you place your offering before God, He honours that surrender. The promise in the key verse reminds you that it is more blessed to give than to receive, and that the labour you invest in others is counted as your own sustenance, even when the world seems to demand more of you.
